What did you do?
The ticket was issued at 20.49
I have thought about witnesses but as you say, it could implicate others. That night I had Marie (my gf) with me so she can act as a witness as well? |
I appealed/contested the ticket.
Whilst that was going on I got a demand for £150
Had to go into Westminster Town Hall to get that chucked out whilst the appeal was going on.
Was then informed that my appeal had been turned down, although I could contest this in person, but if I paid up there and then it woudl be reduced to £50. In the same post came another of these demands for £150, so I caved in and paid the £50 to get them off my back.
I later heard that week that some hooligan had padlocked the Town Hall doors shut with an old bicycle lock . . .
