Actually I keep the revs down in town because of the can and not wanting to draw attention to myself too much. But yeah, I'm either accelerating or stopping. It's also probably down to the fact that my commute to work is only six miles (and if I take the least efficient route that's ten traffic lights, two level crossings, several dozen speed bumps and half a dozen zebra crossings). The bike has usually only just reached normal temperature by the time I arrive.
Still, it seems a little extreme. I've been meaning to get the fuelling looked at again to see if I can get a couple of gremlins out.
