I don;t find that at all- I just replaced my sidestand as the old one was a bit bent, andneither of them bothered me by leaning too far despite the fact that I've got the bike raised at the rear. however, the new one's not been modified at all while teh old one had the little cut to make it swing urther forwards (and therefore make it less likely that the bike'll fall over) so I'm a bit paranoid just now...
