I think I have just started to get my 1st problem on the SV
I went out for a ride at lunch time and getting the bike to change gear has been very patchy, fine some times and a struggle other times.
Parked the bike up to give it a squirt with around the linkage rod to see if that would sort it out and found what I 'think' might be the problem.
The gear selector arm seems to be very loose on the spindle that it rotates up and down on (I hope that makes sense) I can see a nut behind it which I would pressume tightens the whole thing up and stops it wobbling, but I cant get a spanner in. Do I have to take the circlip off the front and then everything else to get to the bolt or is there an easier way?
