Yes, I have ridden a Hornet and stand by what i say.
Certainly, on todays overcrowded roads, the more useable torque of the SV would make it quicker at covering ground than a Hornet but maybe not in a straight drag race. (Not many Santa Pods around though!

being totally honest, I have also ridden a mark one Fazer and reckon that is also better than the Hornet. Just my opinion though.
