To be honest, where I live is generally OK, but our garage is at the back of the house, down at the bottom of the garden. It faces away from the house and onto the access road which serves the back of the houses on our street and those on the main road.
Ideal for twocking and teenage smoking as there's little really that directly overlooks it.
Someone did try to jimmy the lock a few years back when I last had a bike. A GS that sat unsued in there for 18 months before I eventually relented and sold it. Though we have got additional security bars on the inside I'd rather have something down there that would wake both me and the dog up if someone did manage to get in.
