Hi ,

was riding back from work today when a fellow biker pulled up beside me and told me I had a nail in my back wheel. Dont know how the guy saw it , must have had the most amazing eye sight but he was correct, right in the middle of the tyre I have what looks like a small stud , the end of a nail or screw which has gone right in .

Which I guess leads me to the worrying issue of exactly how long have I been riding around with this in . Anyone got any advice on what to do - needless to say I rode home very slowly but am not sure what to do now. The tyres are the ones you get with a K4 and have done about 2000k, I was thinking of getting new tyres in Summer but is it safe to ride around like this?
