I am one of the bigger riders on the site 17 stone and all I can find out is wind it up to the max. Can someone explain the benefits/pit falls of doing this etc...?
I have a K2 650, and the settings remain as they were in the factory.
So what is your advice.

Duuuuuuude, Hows tricks? You been away a looooong time. Anyway, enough of this over the fence chatter. Now, when i was a portly fellow, well more than i am now, i used to ride with it one click from the top. This is found to be ok once used to it. However, changing the links to shorter verions and changing the rear shock for a lower milage OEM one made a hell of a difference. You could run the preload on about 3-4. If your rear shock has done anything over 16k, then it is probably past its best and could do with a replacement. Either an upgrade, or just a lower mileage example.
