On a related note, ROSPA results out today show country roads are more dangerous for children, as drivers tend to drive faster through them than built up areas (well durrrr!

). So, we can probably expect a speed clampdown on 'the last roads you can have fun on' (eg even fewer national speed limits in country roads, extending 30s miles past the danger, etc.), rather than a country road safety drive in schools.
