I am quite interested in buying a gear indicator for my 2003 SV650S. I rode a friends bike that had it and it made the ride alittle more enjoyable. I can figure it out without one, but I found having it there was just a nice feature.
I have only really heard of one called the
Datatool DiGi Digital Gear Indicator?. I also saw the DIY Gear Indicator on here before. I think the Datatool is the way to go for me.
Does anyone on the site have experience with this indicator on their SV or another bike? Or know anything about it? Can someone direct me to a place where I could pick one up? More importantly, before I buy I should understand what I am getting myself into. How hard is it to install? TO my understanding there is much wiring involved...? Fill me in guys.
