If the review makes cameras more visibile and act as a deterent in accident blackspots then this has got to be a good thing. I have doubts that this is what the outcome will be.
I noticed that when the directive to make cameras more visibile was adopted, some of the cameras were being strategically placed in perfectly visible places but in such a way that it actually made them difficult to spot.
For example, I've noticed that some cameras are being placed in their full cladding, but in situations where they don't stand out because of commercial signage or advertising.... a sort of high visibility camoflage!
