Go gently on the cornering till the tyres are scrubbed in. Once they're scrubbed in, find somewhere safe like an empty car park and do a few emergency stops. You don't want to have to learn what the bike feels/handles like under heavy braking and what the braking limits are the first time a car pulls in front of you.

Other than that, relax and have fun. If it's your first bike, try not to get too carried away with the speed/acceleration till you're used to it.
