If they claim you was doing 96mph and you find out that the margin of error is 10% for these guns then you could in theory have be doing almost 10mph less but I still think you are looking at a ban even if you factor in such a large margin of error. So you would be able to say in court that you was 'only' doing 86mph and not 96 but its still quite a bit over the limit.

If you admitted in words, confirming to them after being caught, that you was doing 96mph then it may be pointless trying to find out how acurate these guns are. They will have your statement at the scene in writing I guess.

What bike was you riding BTW ?

I have heard that the Police are 'HOT' for bikes around Devils Bridge looking for illegal cans and plates.
