I put mine inside the side pod of the tail piece. You need to remove the bodywork to fit it, and cut away a little of the tool tray to be able to get to the filling plug and dial adjuster on th etop for flow regulation.
It's well out of the way, doesn't get hot from being near the exhaust, and is in what is otherwise wasted space.
I also made a delivery tube arrangement to put it onto the side of the g/box sprocket, but that's an aside and quite a bit of unnecessary work.
