My new Sv arrived with a noticeable scratch on the fairing.I was not at all impressed for goodness sake it's a new bike! I have to say though the fairng was replaced in about 7 days with no hassle.I dont understand how dealers can allow a bike to be handed over for a new owner with any kind of obvious flaw?
Going off at a tangent I recently bought a new Ford Focus and immediately I found one screw about to fall out of the front number plate,scratches in the bonnet and one door paintwork and the front valance looked like it had been ground with a power tool! Instantly noticeable by me, so why not by those prepping the car? Ridiculous!
