Whilst the SV doesn't have the best reputation electrically speaking, there's no need for undue concern in this circumstance, a couple of bulbs blown isn't a reason to suspect electrical worries, which in this case would most likely be overcharging, but two bulbs do not a problem make so don't fuss.
To put your mind at rest though a voltage test is easily done, connect a voltmeter to the battery terminals, a meter with about a 20V DC range is ideal. At all engines speeds and both high and low electrical loads, the meter shouldn't read more than 15V.
If you have a higher reading, you win a prize as you have the first ever SV with a charging system that works too well.
