Although I've been mooching around the site for a few days now it's only now I've decided to post, the same day I book my DAS coincidently
Basically after 8 years driving (25 now) i'm looking at making the move from 4 to 2 and see the SV as an ideal first bike, my only worries so far being
a) Digging a huge hole in the driveway for the security, why did i get a conservatory again?
b) The fact that I'm a complete shortarse of only 5'6ish .... around a 28/29" inside leg.
c) I literally know next to nothing about anything bike related yet
d) How it's going to run/store in the wet as I intend to be using it all year round?
So really all I need is any advice that anyone cares to share about .... well.... anything really!!
In particular though about getting the SV lowered as I don't intend to crush my nuts everyday
...oh and kinda important is what I should be looking at paying for a new K5 S with lowers
Streetbike's got it advertised at £4599 otr + £399 for lowers ... aint tried haggling yet but wondered what was out there 'deal wise' to your guys knowledge?
looking at taking advantage of the 0% suzuki finance, never paid list price for anything over £100 in my life, don't intend to start now so distance aint an issue for a good deal
