I just lowerd my sv650s too. It cost me 10.00 canadian. We went to a steel shop, bought 2 pieces of steel a bit longer than the origionals and matched the hole size, drilled the two holes and shaped the steel with a grinder. That's it, total cost 10.00, piece of cake.
