Glad you're okay and hopefully the bike's not too bad and it all goes through his insurance nicely.
There is a lesson to be learned here though. When you move forward most car drivers think you've gone and look right checking if it's clear for them and if it is then they just go without looking ahead and to their left to double-check you're not still their (as they should).
So my advice is learn from this (even though you weren't at fault) and only ever move the bike forward (and ride off) in that situation when there's definitely a gap for you to enter the roundabout. That way you'll safeguard yourself as much as possible.
