practically all aftermarket clipons are the same, so I wouldn't personally give it much thought. Logically, there's going to be an increased chance of your bar gettign driven into the tank in an off, I suppose, but day to day I don't think there's any safety risk. I've got Fireblade clipons (well, one Fireblade clipon and one GSXR clipon) on mine and it doesn't bolt to the yoke either. I could care less I think

I might well be interested in a group buy too- I think my GSXR clipons are hollow and so might not work so well, I'll need to give that a think. It's proving hard to find the TLS ones I'm after.
