Yeah right and what bus am I gonna get at 3-4am when I have to set off to get in at my normal 7am start. Dont get me wrong I love public transport if it gets me to and from the pub

Look at it this way if you get paid (for ease) £10 per hour and it takes 30mins on bike costing £2.50 in fuel and £5 for the depreciation thats £12.50.
On the bus/metro/bus/walk (in that order) it costs me £7 a day in fairs and £30-40 in time (thats not using overtime @ 1.5x if you get it) so £47 total.
