I once sorta kinda knew a woman who lives opposite the entrance to it from the main road!
If your into walking,turn right after the cafe, and it will take you up to a crappy car park, from there you can walk up to whats called Cwmorthin, old slate works.. absolutley brilliant views from up there.. if you can get to the top of the mountain where the old tram cave thing comes out of the side of it.. you can bloody well see for miles... I had my 'friend' to guide me around though
