no you dont, Suzuki say that the bike has to serviced in accordance to their service schedule, not that the work has to be carried out by a dealer as long as you use offical suzuki service parts and log what/when the work was done. your warrenty is with Suzuki , not the dealer. Manty dealers will try and knock back warrenty work if theyve not done the servieing , but suzuki would have to authorise any warrenty work anyway so if you have probs tell the dealer to call suzuki. |
Ditto, you could've done the service (with Suzuki parts) for circa £40 & with non-Suzuki bits for £24.50 (thanks to Hein Gericke's oil & filter deal
