no you dont, Suzuki say that the bike has to serviced in accordance to their service schedule, not that the work has to be carried out by a dealer as long as you use offical suzuki service parts and log what/when the work was done. your warrenty is with Suzuki , not the dealer. Manty dealers will try and knock back warrenty work if theyve not done the servieing , but suzuki would have to authorise any warrenty work anyway so if you have probs tell the dealer to call suzuki.

Ditto, you could've done the service (with Suzuki parts) for circa £40 & with non-Suzuki bits for £24.50 (thanks to Hein Gericke's oil & filter deal
