Full size plates are just as bad as the snow shovel you removed!!
I rode around with the plate sellotaped to my rucksack for a couple of weeks after fitting my ermax as the bike looks better with no plate (and you can cover it for speed-cameras
).... local coppers eventually made me get one that fitted on the bike- they were happy with a 6"x4" plate.
