I just thought....

If suzuki always claim much higher BHP for the SV than realworld output, then you could always do some mods, get it dynoed and get it up to the claimed power level. Then the insurance companies might have a problem claiming a power increase on your bike, when actualy there was none as the bike was supplied with lower than claimed power and you are already paying for the claimed power output.
