I haven't read all the posts but just before Xmas I got a huge nail through my rear tyre, and the front was close to needing a change. I was on Road Attacks and the one thing I can say is they last (in Vineys case this is a bad thing as you'll have to have them for far too long).
When I went to the bike shop I thought I'd change to Z6's.
OH MY GOD!!!!
My confidence in riding has returned, and it's been wet every day since I had them put on! These tyres are far far far superior to the road attacks, and I thought they were ok, but twitchy at times. The Z6 has me leaning over as much as I did on a dry day with the roadattacks and it's been wet!
Get them.
Happy new year.
oh I forgot to add, those Road Attacks are really nasty in the wet. On drain covers and newly painted white lines the rear really slips. The z6's haven't shifted at all on the same white lines, and I haven't noticed the drain covers. For the time I had the road attacks I conciously made an effort to avoid drain covers in the wet, but I don't even look for them now with the z6's.
