Failing to produce is a pain in the **** when you are legal, and you just can't prove it. Years ago I got a producer, got home could not find my license. So took in other docs and was cautioned for failing to produce license.

A month later I gets a summons for failing to produce my license and on the damm summons it says "Further investigation established that Mr Wilkinson did hold a full entitlement to drive that class of vehicle". Take the day off work to plead my case.

How do you know you have lost your license until you look for it and if Swansey were more efficient I would have had the duplicate in time to comply with the 5 day period. As it was the duplicate came 8 days after I was stopped.

Fined £25.
