If it's right then it shouldn't be snatchy, although the throttle response is excellent and at first I found it a bit 'direct', got used to it though - it just has a light, sensitive throttle.

i was guessing at the reasons. As an aside, the suzuki site quotes the same wheelbase for SV1000S and SV650S of 1430mm.
Possibly snatchy was the wrong word - lets say "harsh" throttle pickup.
