Yes, but you're getting the results straight back- more investment, better infrastructure, you'll get the facilities afterwards, job creation, more tourists (and so more job creation) and a raised world profile, which means, guess what, more tourists, more job creation. London will profit from the Olympics, the rest of the country will just pay for it. |
Northy, beleive me when i say i sure as hell wish it wasnt here in london. I'd be glad if it was up your end of the world.
All those things yau say are prolly true from an economic point of view but the ordinary londoner like me isnt gonna see any real benefit.
Only bloody roadworks everywhere i guess.
