Today is the day that I part company with my one remaining vehicle, my dear little car
Whilst I'm not as emotionally attached to it as I was to my bike, this is nevertheless going to mean a significant shift in lifestyle - probably the biggest change I've had to face so far as a result of my vision loss.
So I am now offically pedestrian, publicly transported and a major-league bummer of rides. I promise not to step off the pavement without looking both ways first, but cannot account for the actions of London bus drivers or black cabs
