On the SV, the threads are on the brake carriers are they not? So it shouldn't need whole new calipers, just the carriers themselves.

I did the exact same thing- Chewy's original kit had the wrong pitch, but they threaded up without too much difficulty. Good bolts those

I just used a bit of threadlock, never had any problems at all with it.
