Almost certainyl buying an XFX 7600GT graphics card for the new PC. Now, these things come in about 4 flavours of factory overclockedness, each more expensive than the last. Just wondered what the merit is of factory clocking over home clocking (apart from the warranty).

it's all a lot easier and better than when I last overclocked a PC component (hopping up a P75 to a staggering indicated 120mhz)
I think the factory ones are a mix of software, improved heat sink and fans.
At home your just going with whats on there and whats in your box and hopin it don't melt.
Easier if change to a water cooling solution.
