i was quoting from a conversation I had with a rather pleasant young lady of the police kind
i said the same as you ie lights etc. the reply was "no no you silly man" I mean don't go shopping or anything on the route.
trust a woman to think about shopping.
ohh and BTW you CAN drive with no tax or insurance as long as you have an appointment with a DVLA centre and a covering letter from them stating so. RE my previously mentioned journey.
