Just had a good look at my front tyre and it seems to be developing cracks on the edges of the tread. My front tyre has done around 12,000 miles so far and it's a diablo. I know it is due for replacing but I'm so impressed with the tyre mileage that I wanted to see how much more mileage I could get out of them before it gets dangerous.
