One thing I would say, is dont make your job your life. Take lunch brakes. Leave no later than 6 unless its an emergancy.
I find, limiting how much I care about my job, actually helps me be better. Strangely enough. And, dont just expect to always be as good as, or better than everyone.
I used to get annoyed with myself for being so stupid when I make mistakes, and forget that the person correcting me has a PhD from Cornel, a post doc in Harvard, and has been in the genetics business for longer than I have been in school.
Take it on the chin, work neat, go about your business quietly.
