Yes I read that too and thought it hilarious, someone had corporate egg on their face back at the Beeb.
But to put a feather in the BBC's cap (namely Radio 4) their spoof phone in show, Down The Line (co-written by Paul Whitehouse and has people like Harry Enfield and Catherine Tate playing some of the callers), is superb and had everyone fooled for a while:
