You should be fine. Heavy rain and spray causes problems.
Keep you braking distance to avoid spray. If it does play up, WD40 sprayed at the plug will drive out any water and the heat of the engine should get rid of the rest.
Dont forget you waterproofs and pref. a spare pair of gloves.
