The thing is that if a place was known to have an all night licence then all and sundry would turn up, they would need to employ door men and the place would change.

If you simply want a quiet(ish) drink. no problems if you forgot your wallet/ran out of cash etc. Then it is still a village boozer where people are known and their honesty/integrity not questioned.

All night licences are for city/town centre pubs that can afford to hike up prices to pay for all the extras that go with it. We just want to continue paying £1.90 a pint and keep drinking until time to do the milking etc.
