Hi Pete,
I'm 6'3" so have similar trouble, James let me have a sit on his bike at the Guildford meet a couple of weeks ago (he had Gilles rearsets), it did seem to make a big difference to the position of my legs.
Although the footpegs are effectively a bit higher than standard, they are significantly further back which means my knees sat lower.
It also meant my toes pointed more downward which should stop my annoying habit of resting the top of my toe against the underside of the gearlever.
I'd definitely like a set (and would probably go for the PP's since they're 100 quid cheaper).
