There were 2 versions of the SV R&G bungs, the older type had a nylon bung that screwed into a metal cup on each side, these tended to just pop out n a crash. The newer ones use a metal bolt through the nylon bung and are better. Do a search for "crash bungs" and you should find people's comments and votes on the various brands.
