SV650 clutch levers - SV650.org

Quick question on clutch levers for SV650's pre2010 models - do they not have the side stand cutout switch on them? I've just got a replacement lever for my 2014 SL2 only to find it has no noggin to press on the switch. On checking the fitment, it only lists up to 2009. If I select 2014 as my model year, no results for levers come back, hence why I took a punt on the 2009 lever.

Found the answer now by watching Tamsen Coopers video on fitting new levers to her curvy 650S - nope, they don't have the switch! ********. Time for a return.

Not sure how the later models work, but on the curvy there is a clutch lever switch to stop you starting the bike in gear. The sidestand has its own separate switch.

Yeah, I used the wrong term there, there are separate sidestand and clutch switches to stop it being started in gear. The switch on the pointy is on the underside of the lever mount and there is a pokey down bit on the lever itself to activate it. The bottom of the curvy clutch lever is flat, no pokey down bit.
