Default Craig380

I have some very sad news I'm afraid. Craig's (craig380) wife messaged me this morning to tell me that Craig passed away on Saturday evening at the hospice where he'd been for the past week.

I'm guessing that many of the members here knew he'd been ill with cancer for some considerable time, but just recently it spread very quickly.

We were in fairly regular contact and had met for a coffee at the Raven near Whitchurch just a few weeks ago. His communications with me were always cheerful, friendly and positive.

He was one of life's nice guys and he'll be sadly missed. To quote his wife, he's "Hopefully now riding his favourite motorbikes on winding roads under sunny skies".

RIP Craig, ride free pal.

That is sad. I knew he had been suffering from cancer but did not realise it was so advanced. My sincere condolences to his wife and family. If there is any thoughts of sending flowers or donation in his memory count me in.

It's very sad news. I'd met Craig on one of Gary's rideouts and he seemed a very likable chap. I thought much the same as LP, as I also knew about the cancer but didn't realise how advanced it was.

That's a terrible shame to hear. Cancer is such a thief of life.

Like Gary noted, Craig always struck me as being friendly and upbeat - I shared a few exchanges on here but I'm sure I've lost out because I never got to meet him (that I'm sure would have been my pleasure).

RIP.

I've been contacted by Craig's daughter Sophie and at her request posted an Ad for Craig's bike in the for sale board. I've also set her up as a user so she can monitor progress and answer any questions that arise.

Thank you for doing that John. Sophie messaged me about this yesterday so I suggested she should have a chat with you about it. Hope you don't mind.
