Default Bike Rear Wheel Lift

Hey guys i often see pictures of bikes with the rear wheel up on a stand, has anyone any idea where i would get one as it would make oiling the chain a lot easier for me on my own and adjusting the chain also any idea how much these would be too?

There are cheeper ones on the market but you get what you pay for! With the SV you can fit bobins to the swing arm and get the padock stand with hooks which is more secure or go for the abba stand!

The bobin is the black bit sticking out from the swing arm

Sold 1100M wheel today ...end of a chapter lol

Scooooter is dead...going to get another though . Just waiting for the dust to settle.
Thou is looking pretty standard. Actually more like a bitsa haha.
Blue panels/tank, Silver mudguard and Silver belly pan oops......more riding , less fraffing . A new pair of tyres, a bit of a service and a little and we should be as happy as ...

Has anyone bought an ABBA stand recently? When I got mine, they offered a discount for Orgers - I think it was 10 percent

If you are buying a stand, then get one like the NWS that lifts the bike on the swing-arm pivot rather than the swing-arm.

They dont cost that much more but are more versatile - you can totally relieve the load on the swing arm, so allowing you to do things liek remove the rear shock/dogbones etc.

As for oiling your chain, get a Scottoiler and its MUCH easier - ie all you do is fill a little reservoir every few hundred miles

I've got both types of stands. Depends how much maintenance you're gonna do. However a paddock stand is easier to use on a daily basis. My Sv is always on it when it's at home.

I've got a Champion stand. It folds up flat, and has hooks for bobbins that are locked in place. Also the handle comes off once you've got the bike up on it ,so that is handy if space is an issue.
