My bikes are always "she", and far more understanding than the missiz. i think Tanis has hit the nail on the head - They don't argue with you - well unless you do something silly to them. i think saying night night to the bike is fine, allthough just watch where you kiss them, it may seem like a good idea at the time but turtlewax has a funny aftertaste
