SHARP Results are out!
The results are out,so how did your helmet do? My raid II got four stars.
 Some Arai didnt do too well.

My FG-14 has 3 stars. I'm happy with that.
It clearly shows that price doesn't equate to safety thoguh. |

they didn't do craft helmets....wonder if the Stig...I mean Im Indoors' noggin is safe?

Mine is not listed as it is an older model (KBC VR2) - the newer version doesnt fair well though!
What does it all mean though! Have the like of Arai and Shoei run their business just on word of mouth - dont think so. I so suspect that insurance will change in the future if test are also done on leather and textile suits in the same way! Will we get a question on the make and type of protective clothing we use, the worse the rating the more the insurance! |

Cant believe an Arai RX-7 got only 3 stars....
And the Arai Viper-GT, which I race in, only got 3 stars too. Something doesnt add up? |
