Default blue link in chain

is the one blue plate on my chain a standard suzuki fitment? the bike has only done 1300 miles and i just wonder'd as it looks strange?

Have you got a picture? Never seen one standard, is it actually blue or painted/marked blue?

Yeap, know its a GSXR, and I haven't seen any on one before but going by the picture it is because it is the rivet link.

Dunno my whole chain came that colour

Doest look standard, wandering if they've split the chain and the re-joined it for some reason.

Looks like a rivet link to me. Strange though, I thought the DID chains on suzuki OEM were endless?

They are, fizzwheel's comment is spot on and I am wondering the same.

It could be a chain for another Suzuki with the same specifications but just more links than needed for the GSXR, dealer cut it down to size?

got it, gixerjunkies tells me its standard on the k7 600, i just thought it might have been tamper'd with thats all because a standard mod is 2 more teeth up on the rear sprocket.
