Possibly, maybe, but I'm sure you could entertain yourself without using a right turn filter for overtaking! Its the big steel boxes that can put bikers in wooden boxes.

Whilst I totally agree for those wishing to air on the side of caution it would be wise to stick to the centre of the lane at all times

, however, no white paint or coloured tarmac will over ride observation and using the available space whilst it's safe IMO, everyone has different observational speed and it's skill worth practise.
