Default Thanks for your help....Off i go

Thank you all for the help , i really appreciate it and you are all a great bunch of folk however I've decided to go with different motorcycle as I've found one in Mint condition at a fantastic bargain ....It is a 1982 Honda Nighthawk 700s in show room condition mechanically and aesthetically for only $2,000 USD and i just could't resist the price and the classic style .

Anyway thanks again but I'm off to the Nighthawk Forums .
Ride Safe ....... Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all

You do realise that an awful lot of folks talking on this forum don't own an SV don't you?

You're welcome to stay, but hey, whilst you're gone, pick me up a pizza will you?

This place has an strange way of drawing people back.

Don't think you have to leave so soon, we won't be too nasty to you even if you have bought a h*nda.

only $2,000 USD and i just could't resist the price and the classic style .

ONLY $2000! - used to be cheap to us, but is now a small fortune!
Send Baph a B-I-G pizza & enclose a lifebelt for me.
This septic isle is being flushed down the john by our so-called government.

I got turd3d out into the north sea, but looking back it's a previous government's fault.

yeah, in 2007 $2000 was worth about 12p
Now you could buy half of London with it!

OK so it's not in show room condition but it will be once i finish working it over and also the price was actually $1000 USD but i figured that by the time i get it in brand new shape it'll cost another $1000 and that's pretty good for a 25 year old bike , it has been always garage kept and all maintenance done , the owner just recently had rebuilt the carbs, new battery, fork seals, tires , starter ect...and yeah i know the faring has to go along with a new paint job and some other minor details but other than that the bike will be practically new when I'm done with it.
So here are the pics when i picked it up (don't forget that it'll be a different beast once I'm finished with it)

Baph...I'll get you a pizza pie Chicago Style if that's what you crave...lol...the pizza here sucks (but not to bad)

Thanks Yorkie Chris but i believe this is the wrong place to talk Honda , therefore it's only fair that i go .
