Default Motorcycle Auctions?

Anyone know any good motorcycle auction houses on-line or in the south of the country? (Preferably with websites)

Looking for a cheap damaged bike to do up for the track.

Regards

I don't know any in the south, but there's a good one in Halifax. RS Motorcycles http://www.rsmotorcycles.co.uk/

Avoid Cheshire Motorcycle Breakers like the plague. A number of mates have had quite bad experiences with them.

GO on ebay, and search:

5 minutes remaining
no bids
no reserve

+1. There's no point buying from them anyway. The prices they charge its cheaper to buy one in good nick, rather than doing up a written off one.

Only place worth looking at m8 www.copart.co.uk this is where your bike (or any vehicle) will likely end up after an insurance claim. This is online auctions all over the country and is where the likes of rsmotorcycles gets their stock from. Only downside is they are cat registered and you need to pay a joining fee (£30 per year) but they do a heck of a lot of bikes and the prices are cheap.

No m8, all auctions start from zero, the PAV you are looking at is the insurance estimators value on the bike in good condition. You need to be a member and log in to see what is for sale and what the current pre sale bid is, forget about what you see on the public site it means nothing.
