then he almost ran out, so pulled in for petrol without telling anyone and got lost

It's only that big so's I could take my textile trousers in case it started to rain, and besides, I couldn't possibly do a ride-out without a flask of tea and a flask of squash, it just wouldn't be cricket!

Hey. I ran out once on the way to the start point! Then I didn't have time to fill up at the start as they were just getting ready to leave when I got there. This meant that I had to make an unscheduled stop on the rid-out during the ride. I was near the front so would have been fine if there wasn't a queue in the petrol station and if my ignition hadn't packed up when I tried to start it!
